The Equality For Genders

The LGBTQ is a community where you can express yourself no matter what gender you want to be. LGBTQ stands for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer or can also be Questioning. As we all know, not everyone can express themselves for who they are because they are afraid of what people may say about their sexuality. Now these people in the LGBTQ Community are not afraid to show people who they truly are. I salute this people for being strong amidst the hardships that they encounter in life. It is true that others may not accept this kind of things, but try opening your eyes and mind for this people, aren't they special? Liking the same sexuality as yours is not bad at all it's just same as loving the opposite gender as yours. What's the difference? Nothing. When you fall in love, you just fall in love.
Many are against in this kind of things but that doesn't mean that you can discriminate them. There are many people who are gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and others still don't know what they are. They are all over the world. Accepting is the only thing that we can do because nothing will change if they become who they want to be they are still part of our world and we can't change that. God gave us freedom and we should treasure it. So let them be who they are and who they want to be. Some of the parents are also the reason why their kids couldn't come out of their shells to be who the want to be because their kid thinks that their parents wouldn't accept them for their sexuality.
Acceptance is the key for us to be united.
Some say that a man is only for a woman. Yes, that might be true. But that doesn't mean that we shouldn't accept a relationship between men to men and women to women. That's just wrong. God gave us freedom to choose what we want and they wanted that. Some of the churches torn in between to giving the homosexuals a chance to belong to the church. Please see the source to watch the video. It was stated there that being homosexual is a sin which is not right for me. Nothing is wrong for being who you are.
Stand up and be brave, Do not mind what others think of you. For you are your own self. No one owns you. So be who you are and spread your wings. Be who you want to be. Always remember that you are special and all of us are equal in the eyes of God.

Here is a short video about LGBTQ:

  2. This community for me is fine, they can express themselves all they want as long as they're not doing bad acts.
They can also do something good to the society, which is a plus because with that kind of attitude and energy our mentality will be positive..

  10. An interesting topic! But as a student how can you achieve equality towards them?

    ReplyDelete

    1. By respecting them for who they are and supporting them for who they want to be. As a student, I am gonna treat them just like a normal person, because no matter what gender they are, they are still the same person. :)

  22. Wow, what a nice topic. All I can say is respect and accept the person who they really are and not for what they have. All individual has they own free will to express and show their feelings. Specially all of us is not perfect and pure so we don't have the right to act like we know everything and or something like we so pure and straight because every time that you are discriminating others you also put your self in more discrimination. Let love one another and accept all individual for who they really sp that we can have a peaceful and wonderful life....

  28. Interesting, LGBTQ topic is wide enough to tackle in one blog, however i admire how a Grade school student pull it off. This blog stated about respecting someones preference in life, “sexual preferences.” Anyone has no right to persuade that, it’s a choice of a free living human being. Discrimination is always at the corner, however it’s all up to the person how he/she will live a better life, besides we have a lot of leading LGBTQ members in the society and they are doing very well on their choosen careers.

This blog emphasize respect, equality and acceptance. You cannot force it to everyone but it’s a good start that a young mind sees and thinks differently unlike the others. Great job Althea, it was nice reading your blog.

  32. This was such an interesting topic, most of the people who are a part of the LGBTQ Community are ashamed for what they're truly are. This article shows that you shouldn't be ashamed of who you really are. Even though I'm not a part of the LGBTQ Community this is truly inspiring and so motivational. You should share this article that you've made to the people who are a part of the LGBTQ Community for them to stand out! Your article is worth to read! Keep up the good work, Althea❣️

  35. This is a good topic about gender awarenesss.I'm not against with the people in the LGBT community..we are God's workmanship,He created man and woman alone with his own image.Everybody has their own free will and choices but always remember that for every choices that we made there is a consequences. "For as woman came from man, so also man is born of woman. But everything comes from God.(1 Corithians 11:12)God loves us and He wanted to give us a blessed and joyful life so we must live a life that pleases Him.

  46. As part of the LGBTQA+, all we wanted is to gain respect as we respect others and to be accepted as part of the society. I know somehow that is already happening in the Philippines and with the help of each and everyone of us let's still continue to spread awareness about LGBTQA+ community and hopefully in the near future no one in LGBTQA+ will be afraid in showing the real them.

  61. As a fairly liberal minded gay man, I feel that people should have the right to express how they want and do what they want with their own bodies.

    ReplyDelete
  62. admit to being confused about transgender people. I support anyone's right to do whatever they like with their bodies and would fight for said right, but to my mind, the idea of a woman in a man's body, and s man in a woman's body is a little baffling, as I don't consider that anyone is intrinsically masculine or feminine apart from the way we pee and reproduce. I have masculine and feminine qualities inside me according to what society assigns then to be. I feel free to express both as much as I can.

  65. And its truly heartbreaking how these people are treated so differently from others. So many of them are compelled to hide their feelings and put on a mask of being straight. Disguisting! Isn’t it?

    ReplyDelete
  66. I value fairness, and I believe that we should accept other people's identities for themselves. Hence, I support the LGBT+ community.

  67. They are also entitled to all the rights that people in decomcracy should enjoy - legal, social equality and equality to opportunity, and also the right to love and marry whomever they want without being judged.

    That’s it.

    ReplyDelete
  68. My opinion of people who identify as such is that they are human beings. I think they should have equal rights to anyone else, including marriage. If we are going to have protected statuses for minority populations, they should certainly qualify for such a designation because they are definitely forced to deal with bigotry and hate at a higher level than most groups. At this point in my life I have known enough members of the LGBTQ+ community that I have no real expectation when I hear that someone is one. They are just people like anyone else.

    ReplyDelete
  69. I think we need to be acknowledged and that we should be able to be free and not go through shit every day just to be who we are.

    ReplyDelete
  70. I'm BI have to go through every day of school hiding it. The people I go to school with think that it’s alright to joke about us.Only a few people know I am bi, and that is because if everyone knew, I would go through a shit load of crap every day.

  71. I personally try and stay out of other people's business. I mean, this is country! Land of the free! So I just say "you do you, and I'll do me." And go on with my life and so do I.

  81. I must say that as there are some LGBT who embodies respectfulness as a virtue, acts accordingly in the society, and possesses good morals and right conduct, those who do otherwise exists as well. As we may encounter those kind of LGBTs, it is only right and important that we treat them properly and respectfully since we won’t really know their story with just a glimpse.

  82. The spread of word is just one click away. Allow me to state some of the effects of bullying or discriminating the LGBTQ or just a typical youth.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Hinding-hindi mawawala ang diskriminasyon, mapa-LGBT ka man o hindi, kaya para sa kanila matuto sana tayo para ipaglaban ang sarili natin at tumayo sa sarili nating paa.

    ReplyDelete
  84. For those who are victims of discrimination, we should learn to fight for ourselves, stand our ground firmly with both feet. For us, we should learn to respect anyone despite his/her character and personality.

    ReplyDelete
  85. Discrimination or bullying is widespread. Whether you are rich or poor, a lot of LGBTQ members cannot escape from it.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  101. We may have freedom of speech, we still do not have the rights to judge people even though they are gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender. People don’t see the potential of these kinds of communities. They always see the bad side. They don’t think that maybe they are better than them.

    ReplyDelete

  107. I just don’t really get how the society works, I know that judging a person is a frequent leads to depression but why do people still do it? This is one of the factors why our society doesn’t improve. Too many people do not think before doing something. They can not accept people for what they are.
